Applications
We built reasons to own the node before we built reasons to share it.
Rutli did not start with an empty compute marketplace. It grew out of useful local-AI systems already solving real problems. Each application has two jobs: solve something valuable for the user, and bring a useful machine into the Rutli ecosystem.
The applications are not a collection. They are acquisition engines.
Some nodes bring compute. Some applications need it. Rutli is building both sides. PLANNED
Channel: Offices and SMEs
![]()
Private AI for the business.
- Reason to install
- Because the company wants better financial insight and automation: AI in accounting, finance and business intelligence.
- Why local matters
- Financial and operational information can remain under the business's control.
- Network role
- Office machines can have predictable spare windows outside business hours, and can become real consumers of network compute when workloads spike.
Finanly attacks offices. Local AI by day. Network capacity by night.

Channel: Home AI, the always-on edge
![]()
A home that can think at home.
- Reason to install
- Because useful home intelligence should not require sending every interaction to somebody else's cloud: automation, security, devices, sensors and voice.
- Why local matters
- The home owns the context. The home needs immediate priority.
- Network role
- The machine is naturally always on and can have long periods of spare capacity between local events.
ALYT attacks the always-on home. The node stays online because the home already needs it.

Channel: Vertical and regulated business
AI for work that cannot treat data casually.
- Reason to install
- Because the software solves a real industry problem: specialised compliance workflows in the organic-products ecosystem.
- Why local matters
- Sensitive professional data and workflows benefit from controlled infrastructure.
- Network role
- It proves Rutli can recruit professional nodes through useful industry software, not only through GPU enthusiasm.
Organiko attacks specialised business. Vertical software becomes infrastructure distribution.

Channel: Self-hosters and private infrastructure

Your files. Your communications. Your AI.
- Reason to install
- Because they want more of their digital environment under their control: messaging, calls, files, photos and an assistant on Matrix, Nextcloud and local AI.
- Why local matters
- Private collaboration and local AI can live inside infrastructure the user controls.
- Network role
- Self-hosters keep machines online because they already run useful services. That creates persistent infrastructure before network economics enter the picture.
Private collaboration attacks self-hosters.

Channel: Private AI for a person
![]()
AI should not have to live in someone else's browser tab.
- Reason to install
- Chat, cited search, research, image generation and voice against models on your own hardware.
- Why local matters
- What you ask, and what it answers, stays in the room.
- Network role
- Makes the local node useful every day and gives the machine a reason to remain on.
Private AI is the everyday reason a node exists.

Channel: the persistent edge
AI should not have to live in a browser tab.
A physical voice interface connected to local intelligence turns "own your AI" from an abstract idea into an everyday experience. A machine that is useful in the physical world has another reason to remain available.

Different software attacks different channels.
Finanly attacks offices. ALYT attacks the always-on home. Organiko attacks specialised business. Private collaboration attacks self-hosters. Voice AI attacks persistent edge use. Different software attracts different owners. Different owners bring different machines. Different machines have different idle patterns. Different applications create different compute demand.
